Creating websites that you can control...
Giving your business the Creative Touch…

Creative Filter are made up of a bunch of passionate web developers and graphic designers, we love our job and we show that by producing beautiful websites that are not only usable but the majority can be easily updated by you.

Starting originally in 1999, our journey begins by looking up the source code of websites and understanding what each and every html tag did. From this we offered 5 page websites built on notepad, to local businesses. Then we just didn’t stop.

Each and everyone of the team has a different skillset. From content writing to SEO, HTML to PHP, SQL to CSS. If one person in the office doesn’t know something, another will. All working with one another on each and every project that comes through the door

Rhys started web site developing back in 1999. Bed bound with Glandular Fever, he needed to do something with his overactive brain. Rhys started to read the source code of websites and then researching what every single html tag did.

Not before long, Rhys was up and about visiting the local businesses of Derby offering 5 page websites for a then, affordable price. In 2000 Rhys went to work for a PLC and turned there website into a fully functional e-commerce website.

His marketing skills and knowledge took Rhys a long way, from the PLC to eventually Group Marketing Support Manager for a large dealership, working with a few managers to spend a whopping £40k on a website.

Cut backs came, so there was only one thing left to do and that was work for himself. Setting up internet based businesses, with one company in particular turning over £1.4 million a year.

Rhys uses SEO and marketing skills to get the best out of a website, from the way it looks to the way it can be found by Google. Using Adam’s skills, Rhys takes advantage to create new tools and plugins to get the website to handle the way it needs to for the clients attention.

Adam was first spotted by Rhys, when he was just 16 years old. At his brothers flat, Adam was already creating flashed based websites on his homemade PC.

Adam went on to do a computer course at college and a variety of jobs including being a Chef and stacking shelves at Asda, but his hard work started to pay off when he sadly lost his Dad

Adam knew that he wanted to turn his life around, so he got to work on changing his life around and doing what he enjoyed the most, computers and websites.

Adam started at a local Website Devdlopment firm handcoding html websites, learning all the little hints and tips he needed to make the websites look and feel how they needed to, self taught Adam didn’t stop taking on Javascript and PHP as they came along.

Rhys had already approached Adam several times with regards to a job, but never quite ready. Then in 2015 it was time for Adam to move over. Adam started with WordPress, redesigning the parent companies websites on a platform unfamiliar to him, it didn’t stop there and over time Adam has created lots of custom functioned websites.

Rebecca first met Rhys in 2013 when she approached him to design a new website called Ruffle No Feathers. Her previous web developer had let her down and she needed to act fast. Having only met Rhys the once, her Dad accredited Rhys for his skills in webdesign and marketing.

Rebecca’s background is actually as a financial adviser, however she sold her business in 2016 when she was approached by another firm. Rebecca had already been maintaining her own websites for a number of years as well as writing weekly blogging content for a number of local companies.

This gave Rebecca the chance to do websites for herself, giving the team a bit of a girly touch when it comes to particular websites.

Rebecca currently heads up the High Heel Creative Ltd part of the Creative Filter family. Providing Web and print with a girly touch, with Rebecca heavily into the latest fashions, our clients are happy with what they have seen so far…
